Given Peace is the artist project of Given Borthwick, a Portland-based producer and DJ who has been making music since 2011. His catalog moves through house, techno, UK garage, bass music, and drum and bass while staying rooted in melody, atmosphere, and the physical energy of a room.
His releases include Down So Bad, anything4u, Dame Mas, get down, Quema, and collaborations with Fulminate, Case Of The Mondays, Julimar, Josefina Del Norte, VELVET, and RatchaelBeats. His performance history includes Shambhala Music Festival, Burning Man, Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights, Viking Voltage, and two consecutive Factory New Year's Eve headline appearances.
Outside his own releases, Given founded Love of House as an independent artist community, event platform, and publication. The project reflects the same idea that guides his music: club culture grows stronger when artists, dancers, organizers, and listeners build it together.
